Essential Pool Information
What to wear
Baby & Pre-school: A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly NappyWraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not yet fully potty/toilet trained. Why not buy one of our great value Essential Kits which contains everything you need for your baby swim lesson.
What to bring
To secure your belongings in the lockers provided you will need to bring along a token/coin for use.
Changing Rooms
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of your lesson.
There are male, female and disabled changing rooms. Adults are encouraged to arrive swim-ready, where possible. There are no nappy bins at this venue so please take your nappy home with you.
- Poolside showers are available and are encouraged before and after your lesson.
- Lockers are available for your use - token/coin needed.
- Please be poolside ready for the start of your lesson.
- Please do not use the benches for changing your baby/child. There are changing tables available in the changing room.
Additional Pool Information
One spectator per child is allowed poolside.
There is a disabled toilet and changing facility at this pool.
If you require assistance due to a disability (either your own disability or your child’s), then you are able to bring a spectator poolside to any class, to help as necessary.
Please alert our office team prior to your lesson about any accessibility needs, and they will be able to advise.
Photography is only permitted during splash-time at the end of lesson, and only if you don’t include other swimmers in your photos/videos. Photography is not permitted at any time in the changing rooms. Photography is permitted in reception areas, but again please don’t include any customers in your photos/videos without their permission.
No food is permitted on the poolside or in the changing rooms, please save your child’s snack until after you have left the pool.
