Essential Pool Information
What to wear
- A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with an Eco NappyWrap & Liner or a disposable swim nappy underneath if your child is in Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not potty/toilet trained. You can buy one of our great value Swimming Kits which contain everything you need for your swim lesson.
- For babies and children under 2 years old a Baby Wetsuit or Baby Wrap will be required.
- All swimmers must shower prior to their lessons starting.
What to bring
- We recommend bringing a baby change mat if your baby is young and flip flops for yourself to prevent slipping.
- Lockers are provided for customers to use but please bring a padlock with you or purchase one from reception.
- Please bring your own towels as these are not provided.
Changing Rooms
- Changing village with some family cubicles, toilets and showers.
Additional Pool Information
- For any Puddle Ducks customers wanting to use the main pool/splash pad before or after their lesson this MUST be pre booked via the leisure centre as customers can only use the facilities if they have a wristband.
- Pushchairs, scooters & bikes must be left in the designated area by the entrance.
- No spectators poolside. There is a viewing area upstairs with seating and a cafe.
- We do have a strict no photography policy during our lessons, however welcome photographs during 'splashtime', however please be mindful and ensure no other swimmers are in the pictures.
- No food or drink in the changing rooms or poolside.
Maximum Class Ratio
- 10 children/adult pairs:1 teacher
- 14 children/adult pairs: 2 teachers
