Essential Pool Information
What to wear
- A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our
environmentally friendly NappyWraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers
or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not yet fully potty/toilet trained. Why not buy one
of our great value Starter Packs which contain everything you need for your swim lesson?” - For babies and children under 2 years old a Baby Wetsuit or Baby Wrap is recommended.
What to bring
- We recommend bringing a baby change mat if your baby is young and flip flops for yourself to prevent slipping.
- Please do not dispose of your nappies in the school bins as they do not have the facility to dispose of them on site.
- Please bring your own towels as these are not provided.
Changing Rooms
- Both the female & male changing rooms contain a toilet, showers and a plug socket if you wanted to bring a hairdryer.
- The men's changing room has one cubicle and the female changing room has two.
Additional Pool Information
- Enter through the main school gate on Sellincourt Road walk straight ahead to the edge of the playground and turn right, the pool building is at the end of the playground. Please leave buggies underneath the bike shelter or outside the pool building. We recommend you do not leave valuables and protect your buggy with a rain cover.
- Shoe coverings must be worn at poolside. These can be found in a bag at the entrance to the pool building.
- Friends & family are allowed to spectate from poolside.
- We do have a strict no photography policy during our lessons, however welcome photographs during 'splashtime', however please be mindful and ensure no other swimmers are in the pictures.
- No food or drink in the changing rooms or poolside.
