Essential Pool Information
What to wear
- A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our
environmentally friendly NappyWraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Splashers
or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not yet fully potty/toilet trained. Why not buy one
of our great value Starter Packs which contain everything you need for your swim lesson?” - For babies and children under 2 years old a Baby Wetsuit or Baby Wrap will be required.
What to bring
- Please ensure that you use a nappy sack for all nappies, including swim nappies before disposing of them in the bins provided.
- We recommend bringing a baby change mat if your baby is young and flip flops for yourself to prevent slipping.
- Please bring your own towels as these are not provided.
Changing Rooms
- You can access the female changing rooms via the pool foyer. The men's changing room can only be accessed through the pool room itself. Both the men's and womens changing rooms have toilet cubicals and a specific nappy bin.
Additional Pool Information
- When entering the school please use the Prep School entrance, 185 Hampton Road. The School gate will be closed, use the buzzer to be let in and follow the Puddle Ducks signage to the pool building.
- If you have a buggy or pram with you you will need to leave them under the covered bike shelter, at the entrance within the locked school grounds. Please note we cannot take responsibility for your buggy or belongings.
- All shoes must be removed in the pool foyer.
- Friends & family are allowed to spectate from poolside but must sign in at reception.
- There is a separate disabled toilet by the entrance to the pool which also has a bench inside.
- We do have a strict no photography policy during our lessons, however welcome photographs during 'splashtime', however please be mindful and ensure no other swimmers are in the pictures.
- No food or drink in the changing rooms or poolside.
Maximum Class Ratio
- 10 children/adult pairs:1 teacher (Baby & Pre School)
- 4 children:1 teacher (Swim Academy Level 1 & 2)
