Essential Pool Information
What to wear
A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly nappy wraps and liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not potty/toilet trained. Why not buy one of our great value Starter Packs which contain everything you need for your swim lesson.
We recommend that you bring Goggles and a Swim hat. We have a selection of Goggles available at our Puddle Ducks Shop Swim Academy Swim Accessories
Swim hats will be provided by Puddle Ducks Worcestershire.
What to bring
Please bring a changing mat for your little one (Floaties, Splashers & Kickers) to use in the changing rooms
For Floaties and Splashers we recommend to bring 2 towels for them, one to wrap them in when the get out of the pool and one to dry them off with once they are out of their swim wear
Changing Rooms
There are 2 separate changing areas and these are alternated for each class, please click on the link below to take you to the rota and pool plan to see which entrance / changing area the class you are attending uses
Outdoor shoes should be removed and left as you enter the building please
Please do not allow your children to climb on the changing room benches
Please take ALL nappies home with you
Please bring your towels poolside for your babies
Please supervise your child at all times
Additional Pool Information
Due to the small nature of the poolside area spectators are allowed at the descretion of the Poolside Assistant, spectators may be asked to wait outside during the crossover of lessons whilst the poolside area is at it's busiest.
There are windows along on the edge of the pool which the pool can be seen and spectators can watch from outside through the windows
We will however allow School aged children (aged 5+) to sit poolside on a towel should they need to attend. We must stress that any children sitting poolside must be responsible enough to remain sat and will remain the responsibility of the parent/carer in the pool. This will mean that the parent/carer may need to exit to pool if required. Any children sat poolside should be dressed for a warm poolside environment
(This is a private Property and all areas except the driveway and pathway to the pool area are private and we ask customers not to walk any further then the end of the pool building)
If you require assistance due to a disability (either your own disability or your child’s), then you are able to bring a spectator to help as necessary.
There is limited access for wheelchair users, there is step entry into the pool hall building and small poolside and changing room space
Photography is only permitted during Splashtime and only if you do not include any other swimmers in your photographs/videos. Photography is not permitted in the changing rooms. Photography is permitted in the reception area but again please do not include other persons in your photographs without their permission
Food and Drink are prohibited in the Changing Rooms and Poolside.
Depth: 1.4m. Any accompanying parent or carer needs to be 5'3" or taller to attend lessons in this pool
