Essential Pool Information
What to wear
A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly nappy wraps and liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not potty/toilet trained. Why not buy one of our great value Starter Packs which contain everything you need for your swim lesson.
FLOATIES AND SPLASHERS MUST WEAR A THERMAL WETSUIT OR A BODY WARMER
What to bring
Please bring a changing mat for your little one (Floaties, Splashers & Kickers) to use in the changing rooms
The lockers take a £1 coin or a Shopper Token
For Floaties and Splashers we recommend to bring 2 towels for them, one to wrap them in when the get out of the pool and one to dry them off with once they are out of their swim wear
Changing Rooms
Please note that we ask parents not to enter the changing rooms until 5-10 minutes before the start of the class and ensure you left withing 15 minutes of the end of your lessons. This allows enough time to ensure there is only one class using the changing room at one time. If you arrive and the changing rooms are full please wait in the reception area until there is space to enter the changing rooms.
To help with the speed of changing we advise you arrive 'beach ready', with swim wear under your clothes and under the clothes of the your little one and you wear easy clothes to get on and off - onesies or sleep suits are great for the little ones.
There are male, female and an accessible changing rooms.
Please leave your belongings in one bag stored on a peg or under the bench to allow space for the next class.
Outdoor shoes should be removed and left as you enter the changing rooms please
Please bring a changing mat for your little one (Floaties, Splashers & Kickers) to use in the changing rooms
Please do not allow your children to climb on the changing room benches or in the lockers
Please take ALL nappies home with you
Please bring your towels poolside for your babies
Please supervise your child at all times
Additional Pool Information
Unfortunately, spectators will not be allowed at The Whitehouse the practical layout and very small space poolside means we have decided to maintain a no-spectators policy to keep everyone as safe as possible.
If you require assistance due to a disability (either your own disability or your child’s), then you are able to bring a spectator to help as necessary.
Photography is only permitted during Splashtime and only if you do not include any other swimmers in your photographs/videos. Photography is not permitted in the changing rooms. Photography is permitted in the reception area but again please do not include other persons in your photographs without their permission.
Food and Drink are prohibited in the changing Rooms and Poolside. There is a seating area in the reception and a vending machine is available.
